Welcome friends! I’m Lauren, @thegentlemommy, and Seven Wonders is our peaceful little family farm nestled in the mountains of northern Utah.
We’ve been farming since 2021, but we’ve lived the homesteader lifestyle much longer. We started by buying fruits, veggies, and meats from local farms, and learning canning and preserving to get the most of that bounty.
Over time I took classes to learn organic gardening, bread making, cheese making, home fermentation, and other skills that have paid off immensely since moving to the farm. I truly believe you can homestead wherever you are.
I have been homeschooling our children using the Classical and Charlotte Mason methods for over ten years, and my husband Mike supports all these endeavors with a full-time off-the-farm corporate job. With seven children, four milk cows, 15 milk goats, and a variety of other animals, there’s never a dull moment here on the farm.
